Event 2011 MTV Video Music Awards which will be held next August 28 will seem really festive. How could I not, if all female soloists will be performing on one stage as a tribute to Britney Spears!
Although not yet officially announced, several news 'leaked' to mention that there will be a special tribute show for Britney, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement award. And no kidding, the famous singers such as Madonna, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and others will sing popular songs owned by Britney.
Jonathan Woodbeck, TV producer and director, had already stated that 'most likely' this news will come true. "If this news is true (which I say is true), then the tribute to Britney at the VMA will truly epic!" he wrote via Twitter.
Woodbeck also reveal a row of artists and songs that they would bring in a medley of performances in this great evening. Selena Gomez will sing Baby One More Time, Katy Perry performed with the Oops! I Did It Again, Janet Jackson by I'm A Slave 4 U, and Demi Lovato singing Toxic.
In addition, Kesha and Nicki Minaj is rumored to be a duet singing Gimme More, Lady GaGa will be performing a scene with the Circus, which closed the show with Britney alone Hold It Against Me and I Want to Go. Meanwhile, Madonna did not miss and will hand over the Lifetime Achievement award for Britney.
