IN THE GARDEN Fireflies can finally be released in cinemas in the United States

Fireflies IN THE GARDEN is not a new movie. The film was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2008. Believe it or not, after two years before the film is given the opportunity to play in some theaters in the United States there. Why should that long? Apparently there is no distributor is willing to distribute the film in the U.S..

Since playing at the Berlin Film Festival, the drama which is very heavy to digest, it was screened in several cinemas in continental Europe. Unfortunately, there is no distributor is willing to distribute the film in the United States and therefore up to two years of this film is not able to penetrate the American market. Now the film will be screened in several theaters in New York and Los Angeles.

"I'm so glad this movie finally released in cinemas in the United States. Anyone who followed the development of this film would know if the journey to this point is very full of obstacles," said Dennis Lee, the playwright as well as director of the film, starring Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Emily Watson, Julia Roberts, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hayden Panettiere and this.

According to Contact Music, Fireflies IN THE GARDEN will begin airing on 14 October.
